North Notts BID held a surveillance seminar last Thursday to update residents on its commitment to the Business Crime Partnership and inform attendees about the measurements being taken to protect local companies.

Business owners from across North Nottinghamshire gathered to hear about the launch of the new industrial estate CCTV and radio network for pub and shop watch schemes, which aims to reduce the risk of criminal activity and provide businesses with increased security as part of the BID’s levy work.

Sally Gillborn, Chief Executive of North Notts BID, said: “This is a great initiative that we hope will deter petty crime and have a positive impact on the security and well-being of local businesses in North Nottingham.

“It was great to see so many people who were interested in learning about the new CCTV and radio system we have put in place, and it really shows us how many people value the work we do and appreciate the benefits that the BID brings.”
