Boutique Marketing & PR agency Goho have partnered with creative production company Created by TEN to make a brand new advertising campaign for staffing agency GIG, airing on Sky Go.
The campaign follows Dave as he works a variety of shifts, taking advantage of the flexibility on offer from GIG. Dave pops up in the warehouse, at the bar and at the stadium, highlighting GIG’s core sectors, where they’ve been supplying thousands of flexible workers to the businesses who need them.
It’s the first video campaign for flexible staffing agency GIG, and marks the next stage in their rapid growth, and an exciting new venture for Goho.
“It’s great to be launching another campaign with GIG, we’ve been working with the team for some time, and it’s fantastic to help them go from strength to strength, exploring new avenues and medias.” says Goho Founder and Managing Director, Stacey-Rebekka Karlsson.
“The GIG team have a great sense of humour and aren’t scared of being disruptive (just like us). In partnership with TEN we’ve created a really excellent piece of work that represents their brand perfectly, we even used real GIG staff in the filming, proving creativity can also be authentic.
“Working with TEN was the final piece in the puzzle, their sense of creativity and ability to take the brief and craft something we all loved was fantastic.”
Goho started life in March 2019 as a solo-project by Founder Stacey – armed with just a laptop, and a shed-load of positive energy. Now, Goho has built a growing team, and helps businesses like GIG bring their brand to life. This is their second campaign for GIG, following the successful #ChooseGIG series of out of home ads.
The mission behind GIG was to build a more reliable, more flexible and better trained workforce for the future. Utilising their innovative GIG App they are able to provide workers with a fair and transparent platform. It gives people just like Dave the freedom and choice to select the working opportunities they want, whilst still enjoying all the benefits, such as holiday pay and training.
The campaign comes as GIG has seen a shifting recruitment sector over the last few years. Since the pandemic, more and more people value flexibility, but still seek out the protection and security that come from having a single employer. For businesses, recent staff shortages have meant now more than ever it’s important to be rethinking staffing practices, and additional flexibility can be the solution for increasing efficiency and attracting otherwise excluded members of the workforce.
“We wanted to help shift the narrative around gig work from being seen as a precarious thing, towards the real benefits that come from flexibility”
The Leicester based film production company Created by TEN was founded by Andy Gundelach & Alexander Buja in 2015, specialising in carefully considered narratives with strong visual aesthetics. They’ve worked with the likes of EE, Brewdog and DeWALT, and were able to make the creative vision a reality for the project.
