An award-winning Midlands IT company has stepped up its support for businesses in the manufacturing industry.

EPX Technical Services is based in Stoke but provides support for businesses across the country and says the new service, launched on National Manufacturing Day, is designed to help manufacturers increase efficiency, security and productivity.

It means manufacturers are now more easily able to draw on the extensive experience of a partner committed to offering expertise in risk management, innovation, IT support and IT strategy.

Daniel Ellis, of EPX Technical Services, said: “Manufacturing is an extremely important industry and it’s vital that businesses are operating at the peak of efficiency – which includes the provision of solid IT support.

“There is so much that can go wrong and by working with a company which can provide all the answers, businesses have the reassurance of knowing many of the problems that can occur can be pre-empted or addressed with the minimum amount of cost and disruption.”

The new IT support landing page – https://epx.co.uk/it-support-for-manufacturing-companies/ – is a one-stop shop focusing on putting robust plans in place and actions to be taken in any given set of circumstances.

“This can include diagnosing and acting on problems quickly and efficiently, seeking help with the integration of legacy machines with modern networks, enlisting the support of an experienced team with IT infrastructure patching, upgrades and migrations and calling on that team’s expert knowledge in how to improve IT infrastructure design while increasing the value of IT to a business,” adds Mr Ellis.

“EPX Technical Services is Cyber Essentials accredited and our team is also able to provide cyber security training for staff – which is another big plus in fending off the threats of a security breach and the loss of sensitive information and data.”
