A nationally-renowned lawyer who has written books and appeared regularly on Jeremy Vine’s BBC Radio 2 show has joined a law firm in Hereford.
Philippa Pearson is an experienced divorce specialist and joins Lanyon Bowdler’s Hereford office as a new partner of the firm, following time as head of the family department at Norris and Miles in Tenbury Wells.
Lanyon Bowdler’s family department has grown in recent months, and Philippa joins the team, which includes newly-qualified Staci Robinson and experienced partner, Colin Spanner, working with clients in Herefordshire and beyond.
Having grown up in Worcestershire, Philippa worked in London until moving to Herefordshire in 2004, when she joined Norris and Miles.
She is a highly-respected voice in family law and has written a number of legal books, including the Lawpack’s DIY Separation and Divorce guide.

Philippa said she was looking forward to helping clients during what was often a very stressful time for them and their families.
“I have always worked in family law ever since qualifying,” she said. “It can be a complex area and usually involves highly emotive issues, so every case requires sensitive and careful handling.
“I have developed a particular interest in farming cases, and cases concerning those who live together, as well as mid to high net worth financial divorce cases.
