Moxy Hotels, Marriott International’s experiential hotel brand has arrived at the NEC in Birmingham, marking the ninth Moxy hotel in the UK. The 224-guestroom hotel is located within walking distance of the world-famous NEC and Resorts World Arena, one of the UK’s biggest concert venues, perfect for Moxy’s fun, social guests who want to continue the party after an event.
In true Moxy style, the hotel boasts buzzing social spaces, affordable guestrooms and a central bar that doubles as check-in, where guests can cheers with a complimentary Moxy cocktail on arrival. Décor pays homage to the neighbouring concert venue, as guests are welcomed by a sound wave ceiling installation created with transparent material and light, as well as graffiti and guitars displayed across the walls.

Belvar, the management group operating Moxy Birmingham NEC Hotel, continue to expand their footprint. Currently operating 18 Moxy hotels, Belvar opened its first Moxy in Aberdeen in 2016 and have opened nine UK hotels in the last three years. The bar, which doubles as check-in, creates a space to drink, eat, socialise and play, whilst the lobby offers plenty of co-working spaces and furiously fast free Wi-Fi.
