Two independent opticians in Liverpool are merging their practices to safeguard the future of independent eyecare in the local community.
Bennett and Batty Opticians and Stephen Wilcox Optometrists have joined forces and will continue to trade from the former’s site on Allerton Road.
The merger will allow Stephen Wilcox’s patients to continue to receive high standards of eyecare from just a short distance away, with only a mile and a half separating the two practices.
In addition, familiar faces from Stephen Wilcox Optometrists, including Stephen himself, Dorothy, Diane and Jemma, will be joining the Bennett and Batty team, further expanding the range of expertise available and ensuring a smooth transition for patients.

The practice specialises in Myopia Management as well as specialist contact lens fitting, including Orthokeratology (Ortho-K). Merging forces with Stephen Wilcox Optometrists will also solidify their position as the leading practice in the region for treatment of Visual Stress disorders.
