L-R: Little Rascals mascot and the Krazy Races mascot

Krazy Dog, the brand new mascot  from Shropshire and the West Midlands biggest free to attend Soap Box derby events Krazy Races, unveiled  Shrewsbury soft play centre and charity foundation Little Rascals as Kids Zone sponsor for their free to attend Shrewsbury event on the 29th May.

The sponsorship deal will see Little Rascals soft play centre in Monkmoor Shrewsbury, create its own home from home Kids area boasting kids food stalls, pitch and putt mini golf, face-painting  and other family fun activities that will bring the fun world of Little Rascals to the heart of the event being held in the Quarry.

Krazy Races is a free to attend event, first held in Shrewsbury back in 2019. Teams of up to five people from all walks of life design, create and enter the race while raising money for charity. The first year was an incredible success story, winning the Shrewsbury based company Sarah Belcher Events LTD ‘Best New Event of the year’ after it’s first event attracted an incredible seventeen and a half thousand spectators while raising over £20,000 for headline charity Macmillan and other local charities and organisers are anticipating even more this year.

As well as Shrewsbury Krazy Races on the 29th May the event will also be heading to Northwich on the 26th June before taking a spectacular final bow in Wolverhampton City Centre on the 21st August.

Jessica Palmer-Jones (Business Manager) from Little Rascals said; “Little Rascals Foundation are thrilled to be Kids Zone Sponsor for Shrewsbury Krazy Races in May, we are so excited to take part in such an amazing event and really show our support for such a fantastic free family friendly event!”.

Event Organiser Sarah from Sarah Belcher Events said: “We are delighted to be working with Little Rascals Foundation at our Shrewsbury event. Their support will dramatically broaden our Kids and family offering at the event to give families a much better experience, whilst also ensuring we are able keep our soapbox events free to attend. Krazy Dog has already met Kicca and we can’t wait to welcome the rest of the gang and all the fun of Little rascals to our ‘Krazy’ event on the 29th May.”

Applications are still open for entries to Shrewsbury Krazy Races on Sunday 29th May, Northwich Krazy Races on June 26th and Wolverhampton Krazy Races on August 21st but teams are being advised to enter fast as spaces are filling up fast.

Information on how to enter and sponsorship info for all three events can be found on the Krazy Races website.
