Leicester marketing agencies compete in charity quiz

On Monday a number of Leicester’s leading digital, branding and creative agencies teamed up to take part in an all-agency quiz, raising funds for Leicester-based charity Hope Against Cancer. These marketing agencies often cross paths and may even have competed against one another in lines of work however on this occasion, an impressive group of peers came together to support a local cause.

Supporting the quiz, now in its second year, were marketing agencies Bulb Studios, Cite, Effect, Herdl, Masters Allen, Rock Kitchen Harris, Swipe & Tap, Well&Truly and Un.titled for the collaborative event which took place at the city centre’s Brewdog pub.

Tracey Hallam, Corporate and Events Fundraiser from Home Against Cancer said, “What a fantastic team effort from a number of Leicester marketing agencies. I’m delighted that Cite have joined our business club and appreciate everything that’s gone into organising this event, as well as the donations made. Let’s hope it continues as an annual event and more marketeers join in.

As official quiz coordinators and corporate partner of the charity, Cite’s director Andy Leitch commented, “The Leicester creative agency scene is thriving. It’s refreshingly supportive – we help each other in areas like recruitment and work collaboratively when a particular skill set is required. It’s been great to get everyone together for this fantastic cause.”
