Naomi Bond
Leading East Midlands-based law firm Nelsons has welcomed a new associate and solicitor to its Leicester office as part of its continued expansion within the city.
Naomi Bond, who specialises in family law, has joined the firm bringing specific experience in divorce proceedings, pre- and post-nuptial agreements and private children matters.
She said: “What drew me to Nelsons was the chance to work at a firm that not only boasts a fantastic reputation, but also has a strong culture, vision and values. As a regional firm with a national reach, Nelsons is well-respected by other professionals, so having the opportunity to work alongside the expert family team was too good to miss.”
Naomi joins after a particularly successful year for the family team, which saw the department shortlisted for a prestigious industry award when it made it into the final six in the ‘Family Law Firm of the Year – Midlands and Wales’ category at the Family Law Awards.
Naomi added: “Everyone has been incredibly welcoming and I already feel like I’ve settled in and am ready to support my new clients. I became a lawyer, particularly a family lawyer, to make a difference in people’s lives by empowering them and giving them clear and straightforward advice during often one of the most difficult times of their lives. It is the most rewarding aspect of the job for me and my clients will always be my top priority.”
After graduating from the University of York in 2016, Naomi went on to complete her LPC with the University of Law in 2017. She began her career at Ellis-Fermor & Negus Solicitors just under five years ago where she trained and qualified as a Solicitor and later worked at Alexander and Co Solicitors, before joining Nelsons.
