Kettering HR firm secures contract with local charity

L-R: Claudia Slabon, Chief Executive at Service Six and Alex Butt, HR Consultant at HR Solutions

HR Solutions of Kettering has secured a contract with Service Six, a Wellingborough-based charity that provides free support to children, young people, adults, families and communities in the East Midlands.

The retainer contract will see HR Solutions support Service Six with their HR needs, providing the same services as an internal HR department to its employees, such as employment contracts, bespoke company handbooks and other letter and document templates, as well as ensuring all company policies and procedures are sound.

Service Six appointed HR Solutions after putting out a post on LinkedIn asking their contacts for recommendations. HR Solutions were recommended by several people and invited to tender for the work.

Claudia Slabon, Chief Executive at Service Six, said: “Whilst being in the fortunate position of having a wide choice of providers, many of them skilled and competent, it was still a clear choice for Service Six to pick HR Solutions as our partner. HR Solutions listened to who we were and how we worked, which led them to demonstrating a clear understanding of the challenges we face and the HR approach we needed.”

Greg Guilford, Chief Executive of HR Solutions, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract with Service Six after such a thorough process. By looking after the people within the charity, we can help support the team with its incredibly worthwhile work.”

Claudia added: “As a charity it’s important for us to optimise the use of limited financial resources, whilst performing in an effective and ethical manner. We needed to understand exactly what we were purchasing and how much it would cost us. With HR Solutions we found clarity and transparency and felt confident that whatever we might face, HR Solutions would be there to support us throughout. We look forward to our partnership, confident of enhancing our future services for clients, delivered by staff who are benefiting from excellent HR practice.”
