KEMP Plant Fair to return for 2022

KEMP Hospice are once again inviting the Wyre Forest community to join them at their annual plant fair. Supported by Kidderminster Horticultural Society the event will take place on Saturday 11th June from 10am to 1pm in support of the charity’s vital work in the community.

Located in KEMP’s hospice garden, a wide range of plants and greenery will be available for visitors to purchase. A number of local garden centres and nurseries have once again offered their support of the event by donating plants or flowers including: B&Q Kidderminster, Bill White Nurseries, Bishopswood Nursery, Bournewood Nursery, De Beers Garden Centre, Prestwood Cave Nursery, Stone House Cottage Nurseries, Whitlenge Gardens.

All proceeds raised at the event will be donated to KEMP Hospice to support their essential care and support services available to Wyre Forest residents. Vicki Wootton, Fundraiser at KEMP Hospice, said: “The Plant Fair is a popular and long running event at KEMP, and we are really looking forward to hosting it at the Hospice once more. I’d also like to extend special thanks to the Kidderminster Horticultural Society who have always been incredibly supportive of KEMP Hospice.”

Entry to the Plant Fair is free, and there will be cakes available for visitors to purchase. Vicki continued “At last years’ Plant Fair, we were overwhelmed by the number of plant donations, helping us to raise over £1,400 for KEMP Hospice -a record year! It’s such a lovely community event and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back once again in June.”
