HOPE Coventry has received a £1,000 donation from the Amazon team in the city.
The charity received the donation as part of the “Amazon In The Community” programme whereby the company supports the communities around its operating locations across the UK.
HOPE Coventry supports many projects throughout the city including Coventry Winter Night Shelter, Good Neighbours Coventry and the Prayer House.
To mark the donation, the Amazon Coventry team rolled up their sleeves and served dinners at CTK community lunch where they met some of the people HOPE Coventry supports.
Speaking on the donation, Adam Banks, Site Leader at Amazon Coventry, said: “On behalf of the Amazon team in Coventry I would like to say a big thank you to HOPE Coventry for welcoming our team to such a wonderful event. We are pleased to offer this donation to HOPE Coventry which is such a caring charity within our community.”
A representative from HOPE Coventry, added: “I want to say a huge thank you to the team from Amazon in Coventry for this generous donation and for helping at the local community Christmas lunch. It was great to have the team meet some of the wonderful people we support.”
