Shepshed Amateurs Reserves FC in their new kit

Award-winning housebuilder William Davis Homes has scored a hat-trick of new sponsorship deals to support local football teams.

Three senior football teams in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire have been wearing the William Davis name on their shirts this season – the latest being Shepshed Amateurs Reserves FC.

It follows shirt sponsorship already announced for Kirby Muxloe Ladies FC and Sutton Bonington FC.

The regional housebuilder has developments close to all three football clubs: Buttercup Fields at Shepshed, Hastings Green at Kirby Muxloe and Lime Gardens on the edge of Sutton Bonington.

The manager of Shepshed Amateurs Reserves, Kris Pritchett, welcomed the sponsorship.

“The backing of a local company like William Davis Homes is fantastic,” said Kris. “We’re hoping we can build on that support and have a successful end to the season.”

The club, which has celebrated its 75th anniversary, plays in the Leicestershire County Football League DAB Civil Engineering LTD League 2.

The Group Sales and Marketing Director at William Davis Homes, Michele Rose, said the company was delighted to offer its support.

“As a well-established local company, we always care about the communities in which we build new homes,” said Michele. “Let’s hope this support for all three clubs helps to bring enjoyment and footballing success.”
