Book lovers are invited to start their Saturday morning with great books, brilliant conversation and a little fizz as Bookface hosts a special Sip & Swap with award-winning novelist Graeme Armstrong to celebrate the launch of his new novel Raveheart.
Tickets are on sale now for Saturday 6 June at Glaschu, where the Bookface Sip & Swap brings readers together for a buzzy morning of book chat, a live author Q&A and Bookface’s much-loved sustainable book swap.
Guests can bring up to four books to exchange and browse more than 300 titles across every genre, making it easy to leave with a fresh stack of reads. The morning also includes coffee, a croissant and a glass of fizz or soft drink, creating a relaxed, sociable atmosphere where readers can meet, chat, swap recommendations and ask Graeme Armstrong questions.

Armstrong’s new novel Raveheart is a high-energy look at modern Britain through the eyes of a rebellious underground rave movement. When a far-right regime bans youth culture and electronic music, former DJ Turbo and his friends launch a rave revolt — resurrecting illegal warehouse parties as an act of resistance in a darker, surveillance-heavy Britain.
Armstrong’s debut novel The Young Team was a major literary success, winning the Betty Trask Award, the Somerset Maugham Award and Scots Book of the Year 2021, and he was named one of Granta’s Best of Young British Novelists in 2023.
Founded by Heather Suttie in 2020, Bookface has grown into a 15,000-strong reading community and live event series that has hosted more than 80 sold-out events across Scotland, welcoming authors including Virgina Evans, John Niven Helen Fields, Val McDermid, Lisa Jewell, Chris Brookmyre, Alice Feeney and Heather Morris.
