Global Law, successfully providing overseas staff to care homes who are struggling to recruit from overseas for no charge!

Global Law is an Award-Winning Immigration Consultancy in Mayfair, London. They have over 17 years of Immigration Law experience, are Highly Trusted and Rated Internationally with high-net-worth and middle-income clients around the globe.

They have identified a need in the market,  and feel that they will offer amazing solutions to  Adult Social Care Providers who are in dire needs of staff.

In August 2021, Skills for Care – the UK’s care workforce development agency reported that the adult social care sector had a vacancy rate of 8.2 %, more than twice the UK average which is the highest on record. They said that there was a shortage of 105,000 workers in this field. That number is now reported by the Home Office to be 120,000.

The rapidly aging population means that they will need up to 627,000 extra care staff by 2030/31

The shortage is not only due to an ageing population, but also due to a loss of work force from the fall out of Brexit, but also it is reported by the Guardian that care staff are leaving their posts to work for jobs such as warehouse pickers for Amazon and other similar better paid jobs.

Care Providers are struggling to recruit and retain workers in the care industry and the UK Government now recognise this skills shortage.  On 24th December 2021, the Government published a press release that they will putting all care staff and assistants onto the shortage occupation list to make it easier for care homes to recruit staff from abroad. They are advising all care homes to apply for Skilled Sponsor Licenses in preparation for when the Home Office start the scheme early this year.

Global Law have identified an area in the market that no other Immigration Law firms are offering, which is sourcing qualified overseas staff which are mainly qualified nurses but at the very least have Care Giving Qualifications, and making agreements with care homes to supply them with overseas carers. There are recruitment agencies that already provide staff, but they are not able to or legally allowed to provide immigration services.  By using Global Law, they can be rest assured that we will be a one stop shop to provide staff and immigration services.

Global Law’s USP is that unlike Care worker agencies that charge the care homes for providing staff (around 10% – 12% of the care workers salary) for permanent staff or nearly 80% for temporary staff, they DO NOT charge a single penny for supplying staff to the care homes. They also will offer a free service in obtaining the sponsor license (excluding govt. fees) for any care home that does not already have sponsorship in place as long as they agree to exclusively recruit their overseas staff from them.
Global Law have already successfully placed their care workers to various Care Providers around the UK and is inviting any care homes that are struggling to recruit overseas staff.
