Bookface is back at Glaschu this month (April) with one of Scotland’s most talked-about writers, Dr Jenni Fagan, for a Sip & Swap that’s equal parts book club, brunch and brilliant conversation. Taking place this Sunday (12 April), this isn’t your standard author event. Expect coffee, pastries, a room full of readers, and a proper deep-dive into Fagan’s new novel The Delusions — alongside a live Q&A that feels more like a chat than a bookish lecture.

Guests are encouraged to bring two to four books (in great condition) to swap, making it part literary event, part social, and entirely the kind of Sunday morning you actually want to get out of bed for.
Dr Jenni Fagan is one of the UK’s most distinctive literary voices — from The Panopticon to her award-winning memoir Ootlin — and this is a rare chance to hear from her up close, in a setting that’s relaxed, welcoming and genuinely fun.
Bookface, founded by Heather Suttie, has quietly built a loyal following across Scotland, with a track record of sold-out events and a community that shows up — properly — for books.
