A global business club announces Birmingham opening, thanks to local business leaders.
Global Woman Club, is the fastest growing community for women in business, has announced a new location in the UK, Global Woman Birmingham opened its doors on 30th April 2022 with a launch held at the Grand Hotel, Birmingham.
Founded by Mirela Sula, and run by a team of regional directors, each Global Woman Club blends their own personalities and experience alongside a strong character on how to help women achieve their ambitions through inspiring social events and networking opportunities.
Since opening its first club in London, ‘Global Woman Clubs’ are in 20 locations around the world, including France, Sweden, The Netherlands, Cyprus, Albania, Mongolia, the Philippines, South Africa, and the USA. The mission is to “Empower Locally & Connect Globally”.
Thanks to Nicci Clarke, Director of Marketing, and Angela Soong, Property investor and start-up mentor, Global Woman Club has opened its doors in Birmingham.
The Birmingham club’s debut event took place at the awe-inspiring The Grand Hotel, Birmingham on Saturday 30th April, with women from across the region gathering for an afternoon of in-person networking, inspirational talks and panels before enjoying social drinks.
After its soft-launch, the newest Global Woman Club has welcomed over 40 women from across the region and country into their membership club, including young professionals, business owners, leaders, entrepreneurs, graduates, full-time mums, and ‘mumpreneurs’.
Nicci Clarke, Regional Director for Birmingham Global Woman Club, said “I’m delighted to be able to bring the club to Birmingham. As a female leader in business, I’m a huge believer in the power that a strong network provides, from motivation and accountability to emotional support and connections.
Our first event was a huge success and we welcomed so many amazing women to The Grand Hotel, and we hope to see more join us at our future events as we continue to grow our community.”

Angela Soong, Regional Director for Birmingham Global Woman Club, said “Our aim is to make the Birmingham club as vibrant, dynamic, and diverse as our city. I’m on a mission to create an environment where women are empowered and supported to achieve their goals; whatever they are – be it writing a book, starting a new career, or launching the start of their empire.”
The monthly in-person club networking events will be held at the end of every month, alternately on a Saturday or Sunday. Tickets include a lunch or breakfast and refreshments.
