Award-winning law firm Lanyon Bowdler has expanded its property team in North Wales with the addition of a Welsh-speaking lawyer with local roots.
Dylan Roberts, who was born and raised on the family farm on the outskirts of Llanrwst, is based at the nearby Conwy office of Lanyon Bowdler and brings a level of local knowledge to his role that is already proving beneficial to clients.
Lanyon Bowdler supports businesses and individuals across North Wales from its Conwy base and Dylan’s appointment meets the firm’s need to expand its property team as demand continues to increase.
Edward Nutting, head of Lanyon Bowdler’s Conwy office, said: “Our client base has grown significantly in recent years, and bringing a fluent Welsh-speaking lawyer into the firm who knows the area, with its unique challenges and opportunities, is a real asset.
“Dylan is very much a local man, committed to supporting his clients, and is the ideal appointment to help us meet the growing demand for our services across North Wales. He is happy to receive instructions in English and Welsh.”
Dylan obtained his law degree at Aberystwyth University before completing the LPC through the University of Law at its Liverpool campus and is looking forward to working with Lanyon Bowdler clients.
“I am really happy to be working at Lanyon Bowdler – particularly in an area that is extremely well-known to me,” said Dylan.
“I was born and raised on the family farm on the outskirts of Llanrwst in the Conwy Valley and I strongly believe my local knowledge and rural roots will be of great benefit to clients.”
Dylan’s experience in commercial property law includes sales, purchases, mortgages, business leases and agricultural tenancies, general and agricultural licences, easements and associated rights, overage, option and wayleave agreements.
He can also cover all aspects of residential conveyancing matters, for both companies and individuals, in sales and purchases, transfer of equity and re-mortgage transactions.
