The official information hub for the UK MICE industry, Conference News (CN), has announced the finalists for CN Agency Awards (CNAA’s), their annual celebration that recognises the excellence of the UK’s most influential and prolific event agencies over the past 12 months.
London based agency Goho, who recently celebrated their third birthday, have been shortlisted in the Start-Up agency category. Whilst CNAA is an annual celebration, this year’s edition feels particularly special due to the challenges faced by the MICE industry over the past few years. From the transition to virtual events to new safety protocols and the continuous fear of cancellations, event professionals had to be brave and creative to survive.

Stacey started Goho in 2019 after 12 years of working at the Guardian. 3 years later, Goho’s success comes from different initiatives, from offering affordable prices for small businesses during the pandemic to building and developing a learning-oriented team. Goho’s diverse portfolio includes clients of different nationalities (from Colombian to Polish), non-binary and LGBTQI+ people and organisations, and also has a team that represents this. Goho is made up of people of different ages, cultures, backgrounds, education levels and countries.
When compared with the statistics showing that 60% of all businesses fail within the first 3 years, Goho are incredibly proud to not only reach this milestone but also be recognised for it – despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic and the current economic scenario.
Conference News Agency Awards will take place on June 30th at the East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf, 30 June 2022.
