Channel 4 Car Boot Kings Andrew Walsh and James Taroni are off to America!
EBOOT, owned by Andrew Walsh and James Taroni, have been running car boot sales for many years across the Midlands. They have grown their business and have loyal stall holders that have been coming to them for years, so much so they are now known as ‘The Car Boot Kings’.
Following their success from the Channel 4 programme the two businessmen from Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham have joined forces with Publicist Barry Tomes and will be flying out to the US in March to debut the first car boot in America, with a plan to form a franchise business in the future.
In the US they have garage sales, which take place on peoples drives and inside the garage of homes, but not the traditional car boot like we have in the UK.
The car boot will take place at the Coachella Valley High School to raise vital funds for the school.
Tomes says ‘The Car Boot Kings’ run the largest car boot sales in the Midlands. I am thrilled that they have been invited to the US to run their first car boot over there. This will be an amazing opportunity to showcase their work.’
Taroni says ‘I am very excited to be travelling to the US to show people what we do. It will be interesting to see how the Americans react to it – but I am sure once they have run one car boot – they will want to do more!’
Walsh says ‘Car boots are a place where recycling and repurposing takes place – and it doesn’t matter where you are in the world – we are all throwing away too much waste. This is such a great opportunity for us and I am looking forward to seeing the results.’
