Companies from across the East Midlands gathered together for two special events to explore how Artificial Intelligence can boost efficiency and productivity.
Businesses from various sectors, including manufacturers and solicitors, were given an insight into how AI can save them many hours a week by helping to improve their workflows and processes.
Two workshops were held at the offices of award-winning IT specialists Your IT Department Ltd in Eastwood, Notts, and were led by the Microsoft Copilot Specialist, Angela Pawar.
Delegates learned how an AI-powered assistant provides support for work tasks, assists with data analysis and helps to solve business challenges.
The Managing Director of Your IT Department Ltd, Lee Hewson, said the two sessions gave delegates the opportunity to find out how AI can be used to streamline processes and improve efficiency, while giving employees the chance to focus on more productive tasks.
“As this type of technology continues to move forward quickly, these events were a great way to show local businesses what AI can do for them,” said Lee.
“The two sessions gave delegates the time and space to understand both the capabilities and limitations of AI, so they can make informed decisions about what’s right for their businesses.”
Delegates were told how Your IT Department Ltd had saved 60 hours a week by automating certain workplace tasks across various departments. It followed the introduction of a series of AI tools and workflows to automate key processes that are usually repetitive and time-consuming.
