Community Fintech 11Onze lands a decisive victory in Season 2 of the 2022 Vega Digital Awards for its Finance and Banking App El Canut. The award highlights the vital role of digital pioneers in an ever-changing banking and financial services landscape.
Out of over 1,000 entries, 11Onze captured the top spot for its disruptive finance and banking app, created by WONDR, experts in developing effective digital products.
James Sène, Chairman, 11Onze, the first Catalan fintech offering financial services in over 100 years, is delighted with the win and the acknowledgement of its transformational App. He said, “Our mission is to empower the financial health and wealth generation in the Catalan community in Spain and abroad. To achieve this, we developed an expansive resource and financial app, El Canut.”

El Canut offers customers the ability to manage all their bank accounts in one place, no matter what country they reside in. In addition, customers are able to manage all their payments, transfers, savings and loans from this –one-stop-shop financial app.
“El Canut” is an old Catalan phrase that means purse. However, unlike the old purse, 11Onze and El Canut’s products and services are radically new for the Spanish and European markets. This was the key design challenge for the WONDR team; to design a disruptive banking app.
