SURE Solutions, a regional family-owned business, has been announced as a finalist in four categories in the prestigious North West Family Business Awards 2026. The four categories include, Construction, Property & Engineering, Environmental & Sustainability Impact, Next Generation Impact Award, and the Family Business Leadership Award.
A competitive year, with a record number of family businesses from across the region entering the awards. SURE Solutions stood out among the strong contenders, securing a place as a finalist.
The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, May 8th, 2026, at The Rum Warehouse, Titanic Hotel in Liverpool. The event will be hosted by Co-Founders Dave Clarkson and Sue Howorth of The Family Business Community, alongside renowned food and drink writer and presenter, Nigel Barden.

Former 2025 winner turned judge for this year Steve Routlegde of Powerlift Materials Handling, also shared his thoughts: “The calibre of applications has been outstanding, and it’s clear that family businesses in our region are both proud of their legacy and impact to their local communities. Many of the entries showcased forward thinking, and a progressive mindset for both the current and future generations.”
Finalists will soon receive a visit from a specially selected panel of judges, who will assess the businesses before making their final decisions.
