A kindhearted construction consultancy has made an egg-cellent donation to a local hospice just in time for Easter.
Bhangals Construction Consultants delivered 100 chocolate Easter eggs to Cynthia Spencer Hospice on Maundy Thursday, to spread cheer among patients and staff after praising their incredible care.
A seasonal surprise for worthy recipients is becoming a new tradition for the Bhangals team. At Christmas, the team put together hampers for charity and they wanted to continue the giving at Easter.
With all the Covid 19 rules and regulations that have forced hospices to bring in their own restrictions, patients will sadly have had less visitors than usual so the Bhangals team felt that Cynthia Spencer was the perfect place to take their treats.
Managing Director Parm Bhangal, said: “We are overjoyed to be able to bring little gifts of chocolate joy to the hospice, who do such incredible work in our community. We hope that the eggs will give everyone a boost, show our appreciation for the wonderful staff and bring smiles to patients faces.”
Nina Gandy, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser at the hospice, said: “The patients and staff are delighted to receive the kind donation of easter eggs from Bhangals. A donation such as this really puts a smile on the faces of so many people and who doesn’t enjoy a bit of chocolate!
“This is a great example of a local business once again thinking of others. It has been a really difficult time for patients and their families during the pandemic and our staff continue to work tirelessly to ensure that everyone is receiving the care and support they need. A huge thank you to Karen, Parm and everyone at Bhangals for thinking of Cynthia Spencer.”
