LogiPharma launches dedicated Air Cargo Hub for 2027

LogiPharma will strengthen its focus on pharmaceutical air freight in 2027 with the launch of a dedicated 50sqm Air Cargo Hub, creating a new focal point for airlines, airports and air cargo specialists to connect directly with pharmaceutical and life sciences supply chain leaders.

Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Kansai Airport, American Airlines and TAPP are already booked into the new Hub, joining a broader airline presence across LogiPharma 2027, with Emirates, Delta and Turkish Airlines also attending the event.

While airlines have long participated in LogiPharma, this launch offers a dedicated platform to air cargo providers, reflecting the vital role aviation plays in moving vaccines, biologics and other temperature-sensitive medicines around the world.

The Air Cargo Hub will combine networking, thought leadership and interactive experiences, with a dedicated stage for presentations and panel discussions, a ‘First Class Lounge’ designed to encourage informal meetings, and a Flight Simulator.

Speakers on the Air Cargo Hub stage will include representatives from organisations such as GSK and Boston Scientific, with discussions addressing some of the most pressing issues facing pharmaceutical air logistics. Topics will include Air Capacity & Cost Volatility, The Tarmac Gap and Direct-to-Airline Models, alongside wider questions around efficiency, routes, sustainability and safety.

Jake Brown, Commercial Lead at LogiPharma, said: “Air cargo has always been fundamental to the pharmaceutical supply chain and airlines have been an important part of LogiPharma for many years. What we haven’t done before is give this community a dedicated platform within the event, and our Air Cargo Hub changes that.”

“We want to bring airlines, airports and cargo specialists into even closer contact with the pharmaceutical companies and logistics leaders making decisions about how medicines move around the world. By creating a dedicated space for those conversations, alongside practical content and networking, we’re signalling that air cargo is going to be an increasingly important part of LogiPharma.”

The initiative reflects growing interest within aviation in pharmaceutical cargo. As more airlines and airports develop specialist capabilities for high-value and temperature-sensitive healthcare products, LogiPharma provides an opportunity to engage directly with the customers, logistics partners and supply chain decision-makers responsible for these movements.

Unlike standalone air freight events, the Air Cargo Hub places aviation within the context of the complete pharmaceutical supply chain, allowing airlines and airports to engage with pharmaceutical manufacturers, logistics providers and other partners involved in getting critical products from production through to the patient.

Jake continued: “For organisations already involved in pharmaceutical air freight, the new Hub gives them a much more visible home at LogiPharma.

For airlines, airports and cargo businesses that haven’t attended before, we want it to demonstrate why this is a community they should be part of.”

The LogiPharma 2027 Air Cargo Hub is open to airlines, airports, cargo handlers and other organisations working across pharmaceutical air logistics.
