A vintage New York Christmas of red-hot jazz, theatrical spectacle and a six-course Park Avenue feast arrives in London for a strictly limited season.
This winter, Christmas descends upon London’s most iconic jazz experience, 58th Street!
Created by immersive performance company The Lost Estate, 58th Street invites Londoners to leave the modern world behind and spend three hours inside Belle Livingstone’s notorious 58th Street Country Club, surrounded by live swing music, theatrical performances, period cocktails and the glamour of Jazz Age Manhattan.
However, running from 20 November to 30 December 2026, 58th Street: Swingin’ Christmas takes centre stage, giving the experience a festive transformation, with new music, seasonal performances and stories, vintage Christmas décor and an entirely new six-course feast.
The venue’s Art Deco interiors, Soda Fountain Bar and Harlem Renaissance design will be transformed for the season, transporting guests to Christmas Eve in New York, 1930.
As usual, guests are very much part of the world. Black tie, party dresses, velvet, pearls and festive glamour are encouraged as audiences dine, drink and celebrate among the performers.
The real-life 58th Street Country Club was founded by Kansas-born showgirl, socialite and entrepreneur Belle Livingstone. Opening in Manhattan in 1930, the club quickly became a playground for Hollywood stars, Harlem musicians and Park Avenue society before being shut down by Prohibition agents just months later.
Following more than 700 sold-out performances, The Lost Estate is imagining Belle’s club in Christmastime, while retaining the live music, theatre, dining and old-school New York hospitality at the heart of 58th Street.
Eddy Hackett, Co-Founder and Executive Producer of The Lost Estate, said: “58th Street already has the scale and glamour of a great New York party, so Christmas felt like the perfect opportunity to take that even further.
“For Swingin’ Christmas, we have rebuilt the music, menu, performances and room around the festive season. Guests will dine while the band plays within touching distance, watch performances unfold around them and eventually find themselves inside the party itself.
“That shared sense of occasion is a huge part of what makes 58th Street special, and Christmas gives us the chance to make it even bigger.”
At the centre of the night, the 58th Street Stompers will bring Christmas into the Jazz Age with live swing, close-harmony vocals and new arrangements of festive classics.
For the festive season, The Lost Estate’s Group Head Chef Ben Sutcliffe, formerly of Hawksmoor and Temper Restaurants, has also created a new six-course menu inspired by the grand dining rooms of old New York, which includes dishes like the Winter Waldorf Tartlet, Sea Bass Véronique and a Christmas Roast Beef.
Period-inspired cocktails, Champagne and wines will also be served throughout the experience.
With performances often selling out, don’t miss the chance to spend Christmas with the revellers of 58th Street.
