For families who remember Reindeer Lodge as a novelty drive-through Christmas experience, Christmas 2026 at Reindeer Lodge has massively transformed!
In 2025, the North Wales attraction underwent its biggest evolution yet, creating a fully immersive theatrical walk-thru adventure where families step into Santa’s hidden Land of Elven, a vast festive world filled with elaborate sets, live characters, theatrical storytelling and an unfolding adventure in which everyone that visitors meet is part of the story.
Following the huge success of the new concept last Christmas, the experience returns again for 2026 with Return of the Guardians, the second chapter in its Guardians of Elven story.
From the moment families enter the magical portal into the Land of Elven, they become part of the adventure, travelling through enchanted woodland, hidden villages and magical landscapes while completing challenges and discoveries as they train to become honorary Guardians of Elven, entrusted with protecting the spirit of Christmas.
Set across 75,000 square metres of lakeside, woodland and immersive festive sets, the adventure takes visitors on a 1.3km journey through Santa’s secret world, encountering elves and other characters, theatrical performances, spectacular lighting, real reindeer and, ultimately, Father Christmas himself.
The 2026 Experience
This year, visitors can:

Board the Elven Express Christmas Train and journey deep into the Enchanted Valley.

Follow a spectacular Christmas light trail through illuminated trees, special effects and mystical woodland creatures.

Meet Father Christmas’ real reindeer herd.

Explore the snow-covered streets of Elven Town, home to festive characters, shops, activities, Santa’s Post Office and the Elven Town Brass Band.

Take your seats for the Elf stage show, before helping Professor Clockwork and his elves make toys inside the Toy Workshop.

Write and send a letter to Father Christmas.

Wander through the nostalgic Toy Museum.

Warm up with toasted marshmallows and hot drinks.

Complete the adventure with a private family visit to Father Christmas in Santa’s Grotto, with a gift for every child.
The transformation marks a new chapter for an attraction that has continued to evolve since welcoming its first Christmas visitors back in 2018.
Reindeer Lodge is known to book up quickly during the festive season, particularly for popular weekend and December dates, so families are encouraged to book early to secure their visit.
