A Shropshire law firm is celebrating after being highlighted in a national guide which recognises expertise in assisting with private wealth clients.
Lanyon Bowdler, which has offices across Shropshire, Herefordshire and North Wales, has two rankings for the firm and four lawyers featured in the latest Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide 2026.
Chambers High Net Worth Guide ranks leading lawyers and law firms for international private wealth.
Those ranked in the guide are recognised for their understanding of the complex needs of high net worth individuals in providing specialist advice and legal services.
The guide is aimed at helping people find the leading lawyers in their field and is compiled through independent research involving submissions from legal peers and clients.
Lanyon Bowdler has retained its Band One ranking for Shrewsbury and surrounds and now has a Band Two ranking for Wales – a promotion from Band Three in last year’s guide.
Lawyer Sioned Parry has retained her place in Band Two for Wales, while Edward Rees keeps his position in Band One for Shrewsbury and surrounds.
Sioned is an associate solicitor based in Conwy and is a member of Lanyon Bowdler’s wills and probate, lasting powers of attorney and estate planning teams. Edward is head of the firm’s private client team and works out of the Telford office.
New entries in the Chambers guide this year as associates to watch are contentious probate specialist Claire Vale for the Midlands area and Sophie Burgoyne, of the private client team, in the Shrewsbury and surrounds region.
