Awards strategist named finalist in She Inspires Awards 2026

Awards strategist Emma Hewitt has been named a finalist in the Women in Business – Independent Powerhouse category at the She Inspires Awards 2026.

She Inspires is a UK organisation dedicated to creating pathways that help women turn recognition into leadership, leadership into opportunity, and opportunity into lasting social and economic impact. The awards are recognised for their values-led approach, built on trust, dignity and care.

Emma said: “I am absolutely delighted to be shortlisted. Earlier this year I was named a finalist in both the Midlands StartUp Awards and the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Awards, so this has been an incredible year already. Being nominated for the She Inspires Awards was a genuine surprise, and I’m incredibly grateful to the person who took the time to nominate me. Last year my client and mentor, Kerry Boland, won a She Inspires Award to now be recognised by the same organisation makes this nomination especially meaningful.”

Emma helps small business owners use awards as a strategic tool for business growth. She helps clients unlock self-recognition, identify the stories and evidence they already have, choose the right awards with intention, and maximise every opportunity that comes from entering.

Alongside working with business owners, Emma also advises organisations looking to design and launch credible awards programmes, drawing on more than a decade of experience managing international university scholarship programmes and five years managing an awards programme.

Since launching her consultancy in June 2024, Emma has supported more than 70 award entries, helping clients achieve over 60 finalist positions and 40 award wins.

A former franchisee, freelancer and now solopreneur, Emma understands the challenges of building a business and the confidence that recognition can create. A multi-award-winning business owner herself, she has also served as an awards judge, giving her a unique 360-degree perspective as an organiser, judge, entrant and winner.

Emma believes that awards are not about seeking validation, they are a powerful business strategy that builds credibility, creates visibility and opens doors to new opportunities.
