Digital platform Raiys has expanded its connected health capabilities with a feature that enables people to bring together up to 12 months of wearable data in one secure environment, helping them understand longer-term wellbeing patterns and improve their lives.
The enhancement provides access to data from smartwatches and fitness trackers on measures including activity, sleep, heart rate and calorie expenditure.
It aims to help users ‘see the bigger picture’ by identifying trends that may not be visible from day-to-day metrics alone.
The feature collates historical information from Apple Health, Google Health Connect and a growing range of wearable devices, integrating insights into the broader Raiys ecosystem to support behaviour change.
At the heart of the wearable experience is BeActive, Raiys’ activity and engagement tool. Connected wearable data helps to power personal and team challenges, goal tracking and activity-based motivation, helping users to stay engaged while reinforcing healthier everyday behaviours.
The Raiys ecosystem combines connected health data with digital assessments, journaling, personalised support and AI-powered guidance, creating a more complete picture of each person’s wellbeing journey.
Raiys’ chief technology officer Paul Jeffrey said: “Millions of people now use smartwatches, fitness trackers and health apps to monitor aspects of their daily lives.
“They have a wealth of valuable information captured across different devices and applications but, despite the growing amount of available data, much of it remains scattered across multiple devices and platforms, making it difficult to see the bigger picture.
“Our focus has been on creating a secure, privacy-first infrastructure that allows individuals to bring those data sources together while remaining in control of their information.
“When viewed over longer periods, health data can reveal patterns that are often invisible in day-to-day reporting. That broader perspective can help individuals and organisations make better-informed decisions and identify opportunities for earlier support.”
The wearable integration capability marks another step in Raiys’ ambition to turn connected health data into meaningful action, helping organisations and individuals move from awareness to understanding, and from understanding to lasting behaviour change.
Paul added: “The platform’s new capability has particular relevance for employers, healthcare providers, occupational health teams and insurers seeking to support preventive health initiatives.
“By revealing trends that may develop gradually, historical data can provide valuable context for more informed conversations around health, engagement and lifestyle risk factors.”
Earlier this year, Raiys unveiled a clinically led neurodiversity solution designed to support people facing long waits for assessment and care, their families and employers.
It provides 24/7 access to clinically informed content, digital screening tools and structured behavioural resources, enabling users to explore characteristics associated with a range of conditions and consider whether these reflect their own experiences.
Raiys’ platform also includes BeChange, a proprietary behaviour change framework, supported by Stepping Stones, which helps users turn meaningful goals into small, achievable actions that build healthier habits over time.
Paul said: “Together with BeActive, these capabilities create a connected experience where wearable data becomes more than information on a screen – it becomes a catalyst for meaningful action, sustained engagement and lasting behaviour change.
“The technology helps individuals understand not only what is happening, but also how everyday choices contribute to longer-term progress.
“The challenge is not a shortage of data – it is helping people use that information in a way that leads to meaningful improvements in their lives. Technology should empower better decisions, not simply generate more metrics.”
