Guinness Homes to host exclusive open day at The Waterside, East London

The Waterside, Bromley-by-Bow, E3.

Prospective buyers are invited to an exclusive launch event at The Waterside in East London on Saturday 20thJune 2026, where Guinness Homes will unveil a collection of 18 brand-new private sale homes alongside the River Lea.

Taking place from 10am to 3pm, the event will provide visitors with an opportunity to explore the development, meet the sales team and learn more about the homes available. Guests attending the launch can also enjoy complimentary hot, cold and sparkling refreshments and cupcakes, as well as receive private tours of the state-of-the-art marketing suite, featuring interactive 3D models and immersive animations that bring the homes and wider development to life.

Located in Bromley-by-Bow, The Waterside is offering one- and two-bedroom apartments available for Private Sale, with Shared Ownership homes set to launch later this year. The homes launching at the event form part of the final phase of the wider development, offering buyers the opportunity to secure a home within an already established neighbourhood.

Hellyn Fairbrother, Regional Sales Manager – London & South East at Guinness Homes, comments: “We’re delighted to be launching these new homes at The Waterside and welcoming prospective buyers to the development. The event offers a fantastic opportunity to experience the location first-hand, explore the homes available off-plan and learn more about the lifestyle on offer at this established East London community.”

The Waterside forms the final phase of Guinness Homes’ flagship Leaside Lock development, meaning buyers will move into a neighbourhood that is already thriving. Residents benefit from an existing concierge and estate management team, alongside on-site amenities including a gym, convenience store and pop-up barbers, with a nursery and café also planned.**

The homes themselves have been designed with modern living in mind. Kitchens feature sleek handleless units paired with integrated Bosch or Hoover appliances (depending on specification). Open-plan living areas are finished with warm oak-effect flooring, with Private Sale homes benefitting from premium European oak flooring. Bathrooms feature stone-effect tiling, chrome fittings and integrated storage, while bedrooms include soft carpeting, pendant lighting and built-in sliding wardrobes. Select homes also offer walk-in wardrobe spaces, adding further practicality. In addition, all homes are complete with a private balcony – ideal for morning coffees or sunset tipples.

Many homes enjoy views across the River Lea towards Three Mills Island – London’s oldest surviving industrial centre, now a hub for film, television and creative industries.

Connectivity is a defining feature of The Waterside. Bromley-by-Bow Underground station is just a two-minute walk away via a well-lit and CCTV-monitored underpass, offering access to the District and Hammersmith & City lines, while nearby Stratford provides connections across London and beyond.

The development is equally well placed for everyday essentials and local amenities, with a wider mix of retail, leisure and cultural destinations within easy reach, including a Tesco Superstore. Nearby Roman Road Market offers independent cafés, bakeries and boutiques alongside its historic street market, while surrounding green spaces and canal paths provide opportunities for walking and cycling, linking residents to Hackney Wick and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Pricing starts from £460,000 for a one-bedroom apartment and £499,900 for a two-bedroom apartment.

Shared Ownership homes at The Waterside will launch in July 2026.
