Autoclenz completes employee ownership transfer and announces new promotions

Autoclenz Holdings Ltd has successfully completed its transition to become a wholly employee-owned business with the formation of Autoclenz EOT Ltd, alongside announcing a series of senior leadership promotions.

The Swadlincote-based company is a leading UK provider of professional vehicle valeting and preparation services for the automotive industry. It has specialised in outsourced solutions for car dealerships, rental companies and auction houses for more than 50 years and has a workforce of more than 140 people,

The creation of the employee ownership transfer (EOT) reinforces Autoclenz’s commitment to continuity for its customers, ensuring consistent service, trusted relationships and long-term partnerships.

Senior promotions 

As part of the transfer the company has also announced that, following a decade as Managing Director, Martin Ward will become Chief Executive Officer.

Autoclenz has retained its top talent and has made five key promotions:

• Martin Peters becomes Managing Director

• Steve Jones becomes Regional Retail Director (Midlands and South)

• Justin Jones becomes Director of Rental and Logistics UK

• Jon Harding becomes Operations Director

• Kevin Armstrong becomes Regional Retail Director (North)

These promotions are not only thoroughly deserved but are critical to the ongoing development of both the company and its people – whilst allowing headroom for further growth into both existing and new marketplaces.

Comment from the new Managing Director

Commenting on the transition, Martin Peters, Managing Director, said: “The move to employee ownership provides a strong platform for future growth, aligning our people with the long-term success of the business. Other promotions

Autoclenz has also announced the following leadership appointments:

• Jev Derevianko becomes Head of South Central Retail

• Andrei Soric becomes Head of South West Retail

• Rayno Simpson becomes Head of Business for Rental and Logistics

Mr Peters added: “Our management and leadership teams will drive the business forward as Autoclenz enters an exciting new chapter, underpinned by employee ownership, strengthened leadership and a clear focus on sustainable growth.
