Lucky number seven for Silverstone Soccer

Silverstone Soccer 2025 winners -> Northampton Town Football Club

The seventh annual Silverstone Soccer charity event will have a new beneficiary for the very first time in 2026.

The popular five-a-side footballer fundraiser, hosted by leading Northampton-based leasing company Silverstone Leasing, will this year be in aid of The Lewis Foundation.

The much-loved local charity, which provides free gifts and support packs to adult cancer patients in hospitals across the Midlands, has been chosen by Silverstone Leasing as their charity partner for 2026, which means it will be the sole beneficiary of all fundraising this year.

Silverstone Soccer will be held at Daventry Town Football Club on Sunday 28th June and will see 12 businesses from across Northamptonshire don their football boots to compete for the much-coveted winner’s title.

Last year, it was first-time entrants Northampton Town Football Club took the top spot, with Asset Engineering as runner-up.

As well as the football fun, visitors can also enjoy a bouncy castle and Silverstone Leasing’s managing director Scott Norville’s renowned car wash service.

There are sponsorship opportunities for those corporate supporters who would rather not play, which start at just £300 +VAT and include your company logo on event shirts or memorabilia.

With just 12 team places available at £350 +VAT per team, those interested in taking part should act quickly, says organiser of the event and Silverstone Leasing team leader Ryan Bishop: “Entry is open now for anyone who wants to put forward a team for this year’s tournament. We are very proud of how the event has evolved and grown since we started in 2020 and hope that this seventh year will be particularly lucky for our fundraising target.

“We are delighted to be collecting for The Lewis Foundation, which does such incredible work, providing items to cancer patients that they might find difficult to source for themselves or simply cannot afford.

“For some patients, The Lewis Foundation volunteers are their only visitors, and we hope that our efforts will allow them to reach even more vulnerable people in our community.

“Save the date and support us if you can, whether that is by sponsorship, playing in a team or simply coming along to cheer us on and make a difference to those who need it.”

Lorraine Lewis, CEO and co-founder of The Lewis Foundation, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Silverstone Leasing for choosing us as its charity partner for 2026. Events like Silverstone Soccer don’t just raise vital funds, they raise awareness of the everyday realities faced by people undergoing cancer treatment. The money raised will help us to continue delivering free gift packs, comfort and that much-needed human connection to patients and we’re really looking forward to being part of such a well-loved community event.”
