Leicestershire residents are in for a musical treat on Saturday 31 January as the renowned Nova Orchestra Classica returns to St Mary’s Church in Hinckley for a special fundraising concert.
The concert will raise funds for Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland, a Hinckley-based homelessness charity that supports people to rebuild their lives by offering accommodation, tailored support, training and work opportunities.
This marks the third consecutive year that the Nova Orchestra Classica has performed in support of Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland. Last year’s concert raised £400 to help fund its work in Hinckley.
This year’s programme promises an unforgettable evening of classical masterpieces, including Mozart’s Overture to the Magic Flute, Schumann’s Symphony No. 2, and Haydn’sCello Concerto in C featuring soloist Danushka Edirisinghe.
The event takes place at St Mary’s Church, Church Walk, Hinckley, LE10 1DW, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are available at the door for £10 or £7 for concessions (cash only).
