The board of Hereford FC are delighted to announce that lifelong fan and the Club’s current Media & Matchday Manager, Jamie Griffiths, has accepted the appointment to be our new General Manager.

Jamie first started following the Bulls as a youngster in the early 90s, watching games alongside his Dad from the Len Weston Stand before moving across to the Meadow End.

As with most fans, it wasn’t long before Jamie became a volunteer for Hereford United spending his time as a ball boy, in the club shop, selling programmes videoing home games and ultimately as part of the media team, eventually becoming an employee in the mid 2000’s.

Speaking to the official Hereford FC website Jamie said: “I have worked with some great people in the past who I have learnt a lot from and I hope to bring that knowledge and experience to this new role.

“Edgar Street has been like a second home over the years and I know the place inside out. I’ve witnessed plenty of highs and lows alongside fellow Bulls fans throughout the years and like to think I have built up good relationships with existing volunteers, fans and other stakeholders within the club.”

After leaving Hereford United in 2014, Jamie spent a short time with Newport County before quickly returning to Edgar Street in time for the first game of Hereford FCs history vs FC United of Manchester.

“I have been fortunate to have been doing my dream job with the club for the past 6 years and hope to use my working knowledge of the club moving forward. I am very proud and excited to be given this opportunity”

Rob Crawford, Chairman of Hereford FC said “We are delighted that Jamie has accepted the position. To us, it was a natural progression for Jamie and we are sure that the supporters will agree with us too.”
