Local radio station wants your old and unwanted bras!

West Sussex based radio station V2 Radio are teaming up with Against Breast Cancer to create a network of bra banks across West Sussex for their ‘Bring us your Bras’ Campaign.

This bra recycling scheme takes your unwanted or unloved bras through a network of bra banks to raise vital funds for pioneering breast cancer research.

The same bras also help to support small businesses in developing countries such as Togo, Ghana and Kenya, where bras remain too expensive to produce locally.

Breakfast Presenter Milly Luxford said ‘This is such a fabulous initiative… All us ladies have to do is have a little spring clean to help make a real difference. We are simply asking ladies to drop off their old and unwanted bras to one of our designated local bra banks and we’ll take care of the rest with help from our friends at Lewis Brown Lee’ Chartered Accountants.

All bras will be given a new lease of life as they will be recycled and used to help support families in less developed countries.

You can read more about bra recycling on the Against Breast Cancer website.

If you and your business would like to take part and become one of our designated bra banks for West Sussex, then all you need to do is get in touch via www.v2radio.co.uk.

You can listen to V2 Radio on DAB, online, via the app or on your smart speaker.
