Golfers are invited to take part in an annual fundraising day on the fairway to support a Worcester-based hospice.
The St Richard’s Hospice Autumn Golf Day takes place at Droitwich Golf Club on Thursday, September 15.
Ria Simons, Corporate Fundraiser at St Richard’s Hospice, said: “This is such a fun day of friendly competition, and we look forward to hosting it every year.
“We hope teams will sign-up and join us for what promises to be a great day out raising important funds to support our care to patients and families.
“Our grateful thanks go to the team at Hallmark Whatley Hulme for their continued, generous sponsorship of the Autumn Golf Day.”
Julian Powell, Business Director at Hallmark Whatley Hulme, said: “We are proud to continue our support of St Richard’s Hospice and the Autumn Golf Day. We have been associated with the event since its inception over 27 years ago.”
Golfers will start their day with bacon rolls, tea and coffee before heading onto the course in teams of four to play an 18-hole competition. Tee-off times are from 12pm.
The best two scores from four will count and there will be prizes for the top three teams, plus nearest the pin, longest drive and twos competitions.
The day will finish with a two-course dinner, awards presentation, raffle and live auction. Entry for a team of four costs £300.

St Richard’s Hospice cares for adults with a serious progressive illness, improving their quality of life from diagnosis, during treatment and to their last days. It also supports their loved ones.
Each year the hospice team supports more than 3,100 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire.
It costs £8.75m to run the hospice (20/21 audited accounts), which includes patient care and all the necessary support services.
St Richard’s is an independent charity and relies on donations and gifts in Wills for the majority of its income with the remainder funded by the NHS.
