Teams from William Davis Homes paddled their way to victory at the UK Corporate Dragon Boat Race in Nottingham. The housebuilder’s two teams, representing office and site employees, took first and second place with the site team taking the victory.
The event, part of the annual Nottingham Riverside Festival, raises funds for the Nottingham Hospitals Charity. 27 employees took part, with many bringing friends and family along to cheer them on and soak up the festival’s atmosphere.
Sally Brookes, Senior Sales Manager for William Davis Homes, organised the team and said: “We last took part in this event in 2019 and as well as having a fantastic day, we helped raise funds for this important local charity. The whole experience also strengthened us as a team and our employees were really keen to get involved again
“Taking the top two podium spots was an added bonus on what was a great day out for our teams, their friends and families.”
Finishing as the top two teams in the East Midlands has secured William Davis Homes a spot in the Grand Finale of the UK Corporate Dragon Boat Series in Windsor in September.
