A Warwickshire firm of solicitors is celebrating after raising more than £1,000 for charity and taking part in two local events.
A 10-strong team from Blythe Liggins Solicitors in Leamington Spa took part in the Regency 10k Run event in Leamington on Sunday (April 10).
A team of around 15 people from the law firm also recently raised £1,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society by taking part in the charity’s Glow Walk.
Participants in the 5.5km evening walk, which took place at Warwick Racecourse, were urged to light up the night during the event to help shine a light on dementia.
Donna Bothamley, Partner at Blythe Liggins, said: “As a long-standing Leamington company, taking part in local events is always important to us, so we were pleased to take part in the Regency 10k Run and show our support as a team of 10.
“At the Glow Walk, there was such a warm, friendly atmosphere and it was great to see so many people supporting The Alzheimer’s Society, which does such important work.
“We’re pleased that we were able to raise £1,000 to support such a good cause.”
