Steve Allen, Head of Mills & Reeve Birmingham office, has won the prestigious Birmingham Law Society Award for Partner of the Year 2022.
The Birmingham Law Society annual awards cover 12 categories with all nominations judged by an experienced panel of independent judges from the worlds of law, business and academia. The awards recognise the best in-house and private practice teams and individuals over the past 12 months.
Steve is a commercial litigation and arbitration lawyer at Mills & Reeve and a Visiting Fellow of International Law at Aston University. He was also, until recently, President of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, where he received great praise for a successful term during the toughest two years of the coronavirus pandemic, and the New York based British American Business Council.
This award win follows Steve receiving an Honorary Doctorate of Laws Degree from Aston University recognising his contribution to the legal profession in 2021. He is also a former recipient of the International Solicitor of the Year Award from the Birmingham Law Society.
Steve said: “This award is a huge honour and I was delighted to be shortlisted, let alone win. This is a well-deserved accolade for the whole team and Birmingham office of Mills & Reeve and I was proud to share the success with them.”
