Saturday 2nd April 2022 is a day Bromley FC will remember for many, many years to come

Andy Woodman’s side came back from a goal down to secure a place in the FA Trophy Final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 22nd May.

A Michael Cheek brace and James Alabi strike proved enough to overcome a resolute York City outfit whose 1,000 strong away support contributed plenty of atmosphere to a sell-out Hayes Lane.

As well as an eye-catching performance on the pitch, Bromley FC caught the eye of it with the launch of a new 500-capacity bar and kitchen, Broomfields.

A buzz around Broomfields had been brewing all week with Chairman Robin Stanton Gleaves inviting sponsors, season ticket holders and players from within the club’s women and youth set-ups to visit the venue to try out the food and drink offering.

On Saturday, queues formed way before Broomfields opened its doors for matchday service. As soon as they did, the party started. Supporters and locals packed Broomfields, taken aback by the fantastic furnishings, impressive layout and range of food and drink on offer.

The bar and kitchen proved a real hit; even more so after kick-off when players joined the crowds to celebrate victory and a successful launch day.

Broomfields is now open seven days a week serving food and drink for those who want to pop by and try out a nice, new family-friendly facility in the area.

The opening hours are:

  • Monday-Friday | 4-10pm
  • Saturdays | 8am-11pm
  • Sundays | 8am-8pm

If you’ve yet to visit Broomfields, do make the most of their opening month offer. Enjoy a free meal every Wednesday and Thursday.

Simply register for your free meal by visiting www.hellobroomfields.co.uk. You can also pop by for a Sunday roast when kids under the age of 12 eat for free with a paying adult.

Hello Broomfields, it’s great to have you here in Bromley.
