The Boat Inn, Lichfield have received some good news when it was needed most! The brainchild of Lichfield born Chef Liam Dillon has earned the coveted title of ‘Best Independent Restaurant in Staffordshire’ in the recent What’s On Reader Awards.
The Michelin listed and multi rosette winning restaurant opened in 2017 and has gone from strength to strength in its short time becoming a favourite for many Midlands diners. This award is added to an impressive list including the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropub List ‘Highest New Entry’ 2020 entering the list at number 20 plus the Midlands Best Fine Dining Restaurant 2019 and Midlands Best Chef 2019.
On receiving the What’s On Readers Award, General Manager, Steve Locklin MIH said “This is such a special award for us because it’s an award that is voted for by the readers of What’s On and also the people who support us regularly.
