People living in housing association homes across Derby and Derbyshire are being invited to take part in a new survey which aims to understand smoking habits.
The project, which is being organised by Healthwatch Derbyshire, wants to find out what can help local communication strategies and stop smoking services.
The survey, which takes 5-10 minutes to complete, covers topics such as individual smoking habits, perceptions of stop smoking messaging, and people’s thoughts on quitting.
People who take part have the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win one of three £50 Love2shop vouchers as a token of thanks for taking part.
The information collected will be shared anonymously with relevant health organisations, including the NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board, Derbyshire County Council, Derby City Council, stop smoking services, and a local PR company involved in creating stop smoking campaigns.
By participating, residents can play a crucial role in shaping future local communications messages and stop smoking services and ensure they are being tailored to meet the needs of the community.
