One of Britain’s most successful business dealmakers has signed a deal of his own – by linking up with the country’s leading keynote speakers’ agency, Champions Speakers.
In an exciting new partnership Keith Edelman, the former CEO of Arsenal FC, will be working with Champions Speakers.
The collaboration will see Keith become a leading Business keynote speaker.
He’ll share details of his remarkable career, which has encompassed working in retail, leisure, property, consumer goods, and across the media.
Along the way the 74-year-old, who managed Arsenal FC’s move to The Emirates Stadium in 2006, has completed over £4bn of business transactions.
Outlining the areas he is looking forward to sharing insights on during his speaking engagements, Keith said: “I’ll be looking to cover many areas around strategy, due diligence, negotiations, the legal challenges in business and post acquisition activity.
“I’m also looking forward to reflecting on life as the Arsenal CEO which saw me dealing with everything from a stadium move to negotiating with agents, to organising transport for Dennis Bergkamp, who was petrified of flying.”
Explaining what he thinks makes a good business speaker he said: “Someone who can keep A room engaged, interested and entertained whilst at the same time giving an audience three to four takeaways that remain in their mind and that will, if acted on, improve their performance.”
Away from the Gunners, Keith is a former Chairman at Revolution Bars Group, the former Non-Executive Chairman at Headlam Group, Chairman at Jewellery Quarter Bullion, and Board Mentor at Criticaleye. He says his business motto is “get the right strategy and people and lead them with inspiration”.
He lists his career highlights as completing the Hilton acquisition, finalising a deal for the Emirates Stadium on time and to budget and the north London club’s invincible season in 2003-04.
