People passionate about understanding multiple long-term conditions (MLTC) are invited to attend an educational event dedicated to the topic next month.
Hosted by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) East Midlands, this free event will showcase innovative insights from the national ARC MLTC Implementation Programme.
Taking place on Wednesday, March 19, at College Court in Leicester, participants will explore the key learnings from the national projects, including successful strategies for implementation, challenges faced and opportunities for scaling initiatives.
The session will also include interactive workshops on public patient involvement and engagement (PPIE), exploring collaborations across the NIHR, strategies for knowledge mobilisation, and discussions on the NHS 10-year plan and the implications for MLTC research and practice.
Professor Kamlesh Khunti, Director of NIHR ARC East Midlands and Lead for the MLTC National Priority Area, will chair the seminar. He will be joined by keynote speaker Natalie Owen, Head of NIHR Infrastructure at the Department of Health and Social Care, and Professor Gary Ford, Chief Executive Officer at the Health Innovation Oxford & Thames Valley.
