Women with Metal, a leading organization dedicated to connecting and empowering women and allies in the metal sectors, is thrilled to announce its third annual conference, scheduled for October 8, 2025, at the ICC Birmingham. This highly anticipated event continues to foster collaboration, innovation, and growth within the industry.
Founded by Kirsty Davies-Chinnock, Managing Director of Professional Polishing Services Ltd and Director of the British Stainless Steel Association, Women with Metal aims to break barriers and champion diversity in the metal industry. The conference serves as a platform for networking, mentorship, and learning, featuring keynote speakers and interactive panel discussions.
The 2025 conference promises to be an inspiring gathering, confirmed keynotes so far are a joint presentation by Jeremy Stockdale and Steph Snade on gender communication differences, a focus on engineering inclusive workplaces by Katy Deacon and independent thinking by Sally Twisleton. Following the success of the 2024 conference this year is expected to sell-out at 300 participants from both the UK and mainland Europe.
