Menswear pop-up shop set to open

The hospice’s menswear pop-up shop will open in November

Men’s fashion will be the focus of a hospice’s new pop-up shop set to open in just over a week’s time.

St Richard’s Hospice will throw open the doors to The Wardrobe – the charity’s first menswear shop – in Chapel Walk, Crowngate Shopping Centre, Worcester, at 10am on Friday, November 1.

The pop-up will be packed with quality clothing and accessories to suit a range of tastes and styles, including sportswear, casualwear, formalwear and more.

Dan Corns, Commercial Director at St Richard’s, said: “We’re busy putting the final touches to our first menswear shop, and can’t wait to welcome in customers next week.

“Not only will this new venture showcase the amazing menswear donated to St Richard’s, but it will provide a dedicated space for people who love to shop menswear – something we know our customers want.

“Whether you’re browsing for yourself or for a gift in the run-up to Christmas, shop with us for sustainable, second-hand style which helps hospice care.”

The Wardrobe will be open until the end of January 2025. It will open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.

Proceeds raised by the shop will help St Richard’s continue to fund its free care to patients with an illness which cannot be cured, their families and bereaved people across Worcestershire.

If you would like to donate good quality, saleable menswear please take your items in a bag labelled ‘menswear pop-up shop’ to any St Richard’s shop or warehouse during opening hours. Opening hours are listed online: www.strichards.org.uk/our-shops.

The hospice is also looking for volunteers to help in the shop with duties including customer service, preparing donations for sale, and serving on the till.
