Get set for hospice Snowdrop Ball

Guests at the 2023 Snowdrop Ball

A night of sparkle and glamour is set for a hospice’s fundraising winter wonderland ball this November.

The St Richard’s Hospice Snowdrop Ball takes place on Saturday, November 30 in the Treetops marquee at West Midlands Safari Park, Bewdley.

Guests will be treated to an evening full of surprises, with themed entertainment, a live band, photo booth and three-course meal.

Kelly Johns, Community and Events Fundraising Manager at St Richard’s, said: “Our Snowdrop Ball is a highlight in our calendar, and we can’t wait to welcome guests to this year’s glittering event!

“It will be a fabulous night with delicious food, great entertainment, auction, raffle, and the chance to dance the night away.

“What’s more, the ball raises vital funds for St Richard’s to continue its care for patients, their loved ones and bereaved people all year round.

“So, get out your finest evening-wear and join us for a night of festive fun while supporting the future of our hospice care.”

The Snowdrop Ball is sponsored by Shrubbery Dental Practice.

Katie Griffiths, Business Development Manager at Shrubbery Dental Practice, said: “Sally-Anne and Jessica, the principals of the practice, are delighted this is Shrubbery’s seventh year of sponsoring the Snowdrop Ball – time flies when you’re having fun!

“It’s an absolute privilege to be involved in such an amazing charity.

“The hospice means so much to us here at Shrubbery, some of our team members have had to use the facilities over the last few years which has made our sponsorship even more special.”

Tickets for the Snowdrop Ball are £65 each, or £650 for a table of 10.

Each year the hospice team supports more than 3,100 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire.

It will cost in the region of £12m to run the hospice this year, which includes patient care and all the necessary support services.

St Richard’s relies on voluntary support, including from donations, gifts in Wills, retail and events for the majority of its income with the remainder funded by the NHS.
