Bristol-based engineering company, APDS, is celebrating its 20th anniversary by achieving significant expansion milestones, including the opening of a new regional office, a new warehouse, and a successful recruitment drive to increase their engineering capacity. This strategic growth also includes the appointment of a dedicated Area Sales Manager for Wales.
As regional partners for global technology giant ABB, APDS is the only authorised supplier of ABB’s variable speed drives and motors in the South West and Wales. Their core mission is to leverage ABB technology to reduce energy consumption, improve uptime, and optimise processes, enabling businesses to run more efficiently.
Nathan Morgan, Managing Director of APDS, explains “Our ambitious growth plans are coming to fruition as we enhance our infrastructure to support our expanding customer base. Last year, we launched our regional service centre in Redruth. This year, we’re excited to offer more localised support in Wales by welcoming Richard Mount as our new Area Sales Manager for the region.”
Richard Mount brings over 25 years of experience as a Senior Manager in the industrial and automotive semiconductor industry, enriching APDS with his vast knowledge and expertise.
Nathan continues, “Richard is a seasoned professional, adept at navigating complex technical issues and engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels. His goal is to help businesses in Wales transition to a more energy-efficient future.”
