72Point appoints Victoria O’Brien as Head of Marketing

Victoria O’Brien

Ex-Clarity and Hotwire Marketing Leader joins 72Point to drive continued growth in FY24.

72Point, a story-first PR agency, where unrivalled journalist relationships meet strategic, measurable PR, announces the appointment of Victoria O’Brien as Head of Marketing.

Victoria joins 72Point after almost 2 years as Head of Marketing at Clarity, where she oversaw the creation and delivery of the agency’s global marketing plan – including the launch of their new brand and positioning. Alongside a focus on building brand and awareness, Victoria aligned the global marketing approach to refocus on data-driven campaigns that generated growth in target sectors or the business. Prior to Clarity, Victoria held a similar role at Hotwire, leading the Tech PR Consultancy’s marketing function.

This announcement follows a strong start to the year for 72Point, with the recent announcement of the merged London-based creative team, renamed 72PointPLAY, led by 72Point’s head of PR, Sam Brown. This move is set to strengthen 72Point’s creative services by combining Play’s cultural knowledge and 72Point’s PR skills, to run alongside the agency’s existing news generation teams.

Chris Pharo, 72Point MD, said: “The timing couldn’t be better for welcoming Victoria to the team. I see a huge opportunity ahead of us for both our agency and brand clients. We are building an agency that is unique in its ability to use media insight to reimagine PR.’’

Victoria O’Brien said: ‘’I’m thrilled to be joining 72Point at such an exciting stage for the business. It’s clear to me that this is a team with the ambition and capability to deliver truly creative and integrated work, and campaigns that create mass coverage and impact for brands and agencies alike.’’
